YHWH Nailgun – Animal Death Already Breathing

Brooklyn noise-rock outfit YHWH Nailgun unveils “Animal Death Already Breathing,” the opening from their debut album 45 Pounds (out March 21 via AD93).

This chaotic track doesn’t just break down rock components but “grinds them into dust”. There’s a taut paranoia reminiscent of The Fall, though filtered through vastly different contexts. Grinding synths seem clubbed into submission while the shuddering beats nod toward left-field hip-hop. The band – completed by Saguiv Rosenstock (guitar), Jack Tobias (synth/electronics), and Sam Pickard (drums) – has already gained attention from peers like Black Midi, Geese, and Xiu Xiu.
